Jazz fans probably remember it was like yesterday. The stage was the 1998 NBA Finals Game 6, and the Bulls were a game away from clinching their 6th franchise title in a decade. With the time winding down, MJ crossed right, got to the top of the key and crossed back, giving Bryon Russell a space-clearing nudge before knocking down a title-winning jumper. It was the first time Michael wore the Air Jordan 14 and the last shot he’d take in the NBA (for a while, at least).
This classic AJ14 is much more than leather, suede and rubber; it’s the story of a legend leaving on top (again). Check the kicks and mark your calendar for December 17, 2011.
